Sus Yaz is located in a brand new facility beside Quesnel Junior School at Maple Dr and Mountain Ash Rd. We are dedicated to providing quality child care, interactive learning, and memorable experiences. Sus Yaz is looking for highly motivated individuals to inspire and be a part of a team that provides quality care for preschool and afterschool aged children. 

Candidates should have:

• Early Childhood Education Certificate or Diploma
• Infant Toddler Certificate 
• Experience working in a child-care setting
• Organizational and teamwork skills
• Sound written and verbal communication skills
• A good understanding of the early years learning framework
• Current child first aid certificate

Responsibilities:

• Build quality open communication with children, families and staff
• Create positive learning environments, including resources based on child directed learning
• Develop and implement strategies to guide positive children's behavior
• Develop and deliver curriculum, founded on the center's philosophies while following child care regulations and standards
• Observe and record children's growth, development and behavior within a team environment
• Ensure the learning environment is always clean and safe
• Help develop teaching goals for the center with other educators

Starting staff Wages

Infant Toddler Educator $32.00 per hour ( includes wage enhancement supplement)

Early Childhood Educator certified  $30 per hour ( includes wage enhancement supplement)

Early Childhood Educator Assistant $22.00 per hour
